Inside the book

What you're really giving.

The book is built around the person: what people admire in them, the details they're remembered by, the moments tied to them, and the words worth keeping. Here's what it's made of.

Chapters

The set of chapters is shaped around the person.

Every book is built from scratch: for a woman, a man, a couple or a child, the structure, the chapters and the tone all change. Below are the contents of one real NARRA book — and the principle every story is built on.

How the structure is built

Every book starts from zero

The structure comes from the questionnaire: age, character, the relationship, the occasion, memories, photographs, and what the giver can genuinely tell about the person. A children's book is built the same way — around the child's age, character and interests, not a template.

Part of the personal portrait

Name and date of birth

Through them the book opens the story of the name, the symbolism of the date, the numerology code and an astrological portrait — handled gently and literarily, not as a prediction, but as one more way to reveal character. The date of birth is required, the time is welcome if known.

The heart of it is the portrait in words.

The photographs don't replace the story — they help you see it: familiar faces and moments become artistic illustrations inside the book. At the centre is the letter, and the way the person is described.

About the photos

You don't need perfect photographs.

Any photograph will do — a professional shoot, a phone shot, Instagram pictures or family photos from different years. Even with different backgrounds, light and mood, we bring them into one sketch / watercolour style: every frame becomes an artistic illustration that reads as part of a single story.

FAQ

What comes in a standard book?
52 pages: a title page, name and date, a portrait in words, chapters about the person, 6 photos in a sketch / watercolour finish, a letter from you, wishes, “Open when…” pages, personal pages and NARRA gift packaging.
What makes the book personal?
The book is built from a questionnaire, photographs, details about the person and a letter from you. What matters isn't just a name and date — it's character, habits, memories, the people close to them and the words you want to pass on.
What do you need from me?
To start, a short request is enough. Then we'll ask for the basics: who the book is for, the occasion, the name, a date or age, photographs, key details and thoughts for your letter.
Is the letter from you included?
Yes, the letter is always included. You can write it in your own words or share the main thoughts — we'll set it in the style of the book.
Can I see an example?
Yes. The site shows a demo preview: the structure, sample spreads and what the book contains. Other clients' full personal texts are never published.
How does payment work?
Work begins after the 50% deposit. The remaining amount is paid once the book is finished and the facts are checked — before printing or shipping.
