In plain language: what data we receive when you order a NARRA book, why we need it, and what we do with it. Updated: July 20, 2026.
Who receives your data
NARRA (narra.md) — personalised gift books, Chișinău, Moldova. You can reach us via WhatsApp +373 79 913 944 or by phone — that's also the main channel for any question about your data, including a request to delete it.
What data we collect
Through the request form on the site and the detailed questionnaire that follows, we receive:
Data about a child
If the book is made for a child (our For Kids series), all data about the child is provided by an adult — a parent or the person giving the gift. We don't collect data directly from children.
Why we need it
The only purpose is to create your personalised book: write the text, turn the photos into illustrations, confirm the layout with you, print and deliver the finished order. We don't use your data for advertising and we don't sell it.
Who else sees your data
No one outside the NARRA team — except the partners we can't physically complete your order without: the print shop receives the finished book layout for printing, and the courier receives the recipient's name, address and phone number for delivery. Google Analytics sees anonymised visit statistics, without your personal data from the questionnaire.
How long we keep your data
We keep your order's materials (text, photos, layout) on file — this lets us produce a reprint or help you return to your order later. If you'd like us to delete your data sooner, just tell us — we'll delete everything except what we're legally required to keep (such as payment records for accounting purposes).
Payment
Payment is made by direct bank transfer to NARRA's account — we never receive or store your card numbers; that happens inside your own bank's app, entirely outside our site.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show you what data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Just message us on WhatsApp or call the number listed on the site.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of the page. This page is written in plain language to be clear, rather than as a formal legal document — if you need a more formal version, write to us.
